I’m still honestly in a state of disbelief over this, but… I guess I should say something? Last week, Ladykiller in a Bind won the IGF award for Excellence in Narrative, which is, like, an unbelievably huge honour. It really means a lot to me. Here’s what I think I somehow managed to stammer when I went onto that stage:

“I’d like to thank Raide, who couldn’t be here—but he’s very much an equally important part of the team, and this belongs to him as much as it does to me. And… I’d like to thank all of you, for all your love and support; I wouldn’t have been able to make it this far without it. I hope now, in these terrifying times, you can reach out to other young queer artists and show them the same love and support you’ve shown me. Thank you.”

We spent three very difficult years working on Ladykiller, so I’m really happy to see that people are appreciating all the mechanical detail that we put into it, and thanks to everyone who believed in my silly lesbian sex game 💖

And if you haven’t played it yet, well, I hope you enjoy the Beast’s IGF AWARD WINNING PUSSY.
